In recognition of National Family Caregivers Month, we’re holding our First Annual Family Caregivers’ Summit on November 23 and 24. Join us for either or both workshops. It’s free!
Part One: Foundations for Family Caregiving
Sat., Nov. 23, 2013, 10:30am-12pm
Join us for an open, honest discussion about what it means to be a caregiver. We’ll talk about its challenges and triumphs and meet other family caregivers to share information and mutual support.
This free, interactive workshop will also include a brief stress management practice.
Part Two: Sowing Seeds for Effective Caregiving
Sun., Nov. 24, 2013, 2:30-4pm
We’ve all heard that it’s important for caregivers to take of themselves. But what does that mean? We’ll talk about why self care is critical for effective caregiving and explore specific strategies for caring for ourselves.
Pre-registration isn’t required, but is recommended before Nov. 20 to reserve a workshop packet. Register for one or both workshops at firstname.lastname@example.org.
